Official master on the Austrian School of Economics

Presentation

The Master on the Austrian School of Economics aims to provide the students with the tools and methods of this School of thought, as well as with the knowledge required to apply these tools and methods to the analysis of economic problems. The student will achieve a high degree of knowledge in the areas of market processes, monetary economics, economic cycles, evolutionary study of the institutions, analysis of interventionism, and technological innovation processes.

The program consists of a main body of basic knowledge that will serve as the foundations for the investigation and the writing of the final dissertation on any of the principal fields of study covered during the course.

Not only is the program designed to equip students, both national and international, with the necessary knowledge to carry out a specialised investigation within the scientific discipline of Economics, but it also intends to provide them with the necessary experience to develop their abilities as economists in both the public and the private sector (as entrepreneurs).
